Me and Kristina met on a train. Moved in together.
I kept playing my songs ‘AT’ her. She didn’t say they were shit.
The bass chose Kristina.
Thought I could do with another Simon in the Band. So asked my go to drummer friend Simon Stewart round ours.
Kristina’s old school friend Jodie Muncey joined on keys.
Then my old school friend Jack Munnelly joined in on STRATOCASTER.
Simon Stewart’s soon to be wife Sophie came around to help with the soprano / percussion.
ABSUMA REHEARSE EVERY TUESDAY IN A BUNGALOW
The name comes from a house Simon Keet’s gypsy Grandad built.
He named it after himself Abraham, his daughter Susan and wife Maureen. AB-SU-MA.
He didn’t have google otherwise he’d have seen an alternate meaning in a faraway land…
